Using Supplements to Recover from Your Gym Workouts

One thing I learnt from professional bodybuilder Ben Pakulski and his training program MI40 was the importance of choosing the right supplements to maximise your muscle mass. Most people just take protein powder and maybe some branched chain amino acids and they think this is all that they will need to do to build muscle mass. But this is not true.

In fact he recommends taking five different supplements that all help to improve your ability to recover from your workout so that you can get back into gym and train again quicker. This is the most important thing. If you spend too much time recovering between workout sessions all you’re doing is delaying your body’s ability to build muscle.

So all supplementsup should be chosen specifically for the purpose of helping you to recover quickly and get back to the gym. Other supplements such as protein powders are also important but the main focus should be on recovery first.
