Put Some Meat on Your Bones Using Proper Workout

If you are someone who has always struggled to pack muscles onto a scrawny frame, you are not alone. Droves of men flock into the gyms trying to make a statement which is exactly what a strong back or a broad chest does for you. It makes the opposite sex and other men take notice when you step into a room-that and the fact you are able to fill your shirts out so much better. If you are built like a microphone stand, it is not your fault. Your first step to gain weight is to understand that you must play by a different set of rules. Top on your list of priorities must be nutrition. A super charged hummer doesn`t run on the same amount of gas as a Toyota Vitz! If you want to get large you have to eat large. You can also join a sixpack abs program which many gyms and other health and fitness centre are offering.

Using Supplements to Recover from Your Gym Workouts

One thing I learnt from professional bodybuilder Ben Pakulski and his training program MI40 was the importance of choosing the right supplements to maximise your muscle mass. Most people just take protein powder and maybe some branched chain amino acids and they think this is all that they will need to do to build muscle mass. But this is not true.

In fact he recommends taking five different supplements that all help to improve your ability to recover from your workout so that you can get back into gym and train again quicker. This is the most important thing. If you spend too much time recovering between workout sessions all you’re doing is delaying your body’s ability to build muscle.

So all supplementsup should be chosen specifically for the purpose of helping you to recover quickly and get back to the gym. Other supplements such as protein powders are also important but the main focus should be on recovery first.

Tips to Getting Ripped Right

One can get ripped very fast, however it cannot be done overnight. To get ripped, you have to be dedicated and have self discipline.

For you to be considered ripped, you need to have only about 13% to 20% body fat. Nutrition is the basic link to getting ripped. You need to follow a strict dietary program which should contain about 2000 to 2500 calories daily.

A protein rich diet is a necessity as it’s what builds muscles. When trying to get ripped, you should stay away from supplements. Multivitamins are however highly recommended.

You should have a work routine of at least 3 times a week which should involve cardio. These workouts should be planned not random or sporadic.

Sleep is also essential, as you need to rest to give your body the time it needs for your muscles to build up; you should sleep a minimum of 8 hours.
